This is a versatile tool that allows you to create custom word search puzzles based on chosen themes and grid size. The generator automatically arranges thematic words into a grid, hiding the words in horizontal and vertical directions. You can also select the puzzle's difficulty.
Step-by-Step Guide to Making a Word Search
1. Below the “Word Search Maker” you can see two options: “Printable” and “Digital”. You have to select a Printable one if you are going to print out your puzzle. Digital one is optimized for iPad and other digital devices.
2. Select the type of paper from the list (A5, A4, Letter, etc.). It allows you to receive the template, which size is adjusted to this particular paper size. The same situation is with Digital Word Finds. Select iPad, reMarkable, ONYX BOOX depends on your device.
3. Now you have 2 options. If you'll click “Download”, our Word Search Maker will create a puzzle with random theme. But if you want to be able to select theme, difficultly level and grid size, just tap “Edit Settings” button.
4. The next step is pretty simple: select theme from the list, choose one of three difficultly levels and adjust grid size. You can download any template as many times as you need, so feel free to customize it.
5. Just tap “Download” and wait a little bit. Then print out your Word Hunt Puzzle or upload it to the digital device.
